Carl Lawrence, Anthony Petty, Henry Gammage and Duncan & Ben Rolfe along with Mark Nicholson, Stuart Delf and Lewis Bates, who are composite technicians at Force India F1, are undertaking a charity walk from Woking to Silverstone via Oxfordshire and Milton Keynes, camping out along the way.

carlThe walk is in aid of CLIC Sargent, who provide specialist support to help and guide cancer patients and their families when cancer strikes young lives, limiting the damage cancer causes beyond just health.

Although I can’t make any promises, rigorous training is already underway and I intend to give it my very best shot to make it through to the end for such a worthy cause.

Please show your support for me and the rest of the team by donating on our Just Giving page. Any donations, large or small, will be gratefully received by us, CLIC Sargent and the families they assist.

Additionally I am looking for a generous organisation to sponsor my cap during the walk, there will hopefully be plenty of media exposure along the way including photo calls at each Team HQ. If anyone is interested they should contact me at carl.lawrence@outlook.com

* My youngest child is graduating from Primary School during Day 4, so I will interrupt the walk with a brief return home to witness that before re-joining the others to (hopefully) complete the event.
